A brief word of encouragement for the Grace Church family.

First, please remember that our God is faithful, compassionate, powerful, and good. We can trust him to always be in control, and do what is best, according to his perfect plans. Moreover, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and indwelling power of the Holy Spirit, will guard us in the midst of trouble, and enable us to serve in times just like this. This Sunday, I will preach on how the blood of the cross transforms us and gives us hope, and confidence beyond what the unbelieving world can self-generate. More than ever, we are motivated to proclaim the Gospel to a world that is slowly realizing, they are not in control. Please continue to trust God, and pray for one another.

Meditate on Psalm 62:5-8.  "Patiently wait for God alone, my soul! For he is the one who gives me confidence. He alone is my protector and deliverer. He is my refuge; I will not be upended. God delivers me and exalts me; God is my strong protector and my shelter. Trust in him at all times, you people! Pour out your hearts before him! God is our shelter! (Selah)"
May God bless you, Pastor John Grams
