Grace Children’s Ministries
Whether it’s Sunday morning Sunday school or Grace Kids, Wednesday night AWANA clubs, summer VBS, or special activities geared for kids, here at Grace Church, we are intentional about ministering to children!
Grace Kids is our age appropriate lesson and activity time for children ages 3 through 6. Typically, kids are released for the final two-thirds of the worship service on Sunday mornings. (Our well-staffed nursery is available for kids under the age of 3).
Grace Kids uses The Gospel Story Bible curriculum written by Marty Machowski. Each week, the kids learn a new story from the old or new testament, connect the story to Jesus, and participate in object lessons to solidify the lesson for the week.

VBS 2024
Shine Jesus’ Light in 2024
Sunday - Thursday, July 21-25, 6-8 pm.
Children must be age 4 by September 1 through entering grade 5 in the fall of 2024.
Take kids deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At Scuba VBS, kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about!
Registration begins May 10.

A kids’ ministry without fun is a ministry without kids! That’s why we at Grace Church take fun “seriously.” Wednesday nights are so exciting that kids can’t wait to come back for more!
But fun is only the start. While kids are having a blast, they’re learning and growing too. They learn Bible verses and spiritual truths that expand their minds and souls.
The goal of AWANA is to give boys and girls the opportunity to know, love, and serve God. While it’s a serious mission, we believe having fun in the process is a great tool for reaching young people. Our clubs are for kids who will be starting kindergarten within the next two years through 6th grade.

AWANA 2023 will begin September 13!
AWANA meets Wednesdays, 6:30-8 pm, Sept-May. A typical evening has into 3 segments:
Game Time (gym)
Handbook Time (Bible, teaching)
Council Time (story, songs)
