Women

There are a number of small groups at Grace.  We encourage everyone to be a part of a Growth Group or a small group where you enjoy the opportunity to fellowship, share, care, pray and study God's word.

Prayer Ministry
 
We believe in the power of God through prayer and feel that it is important to pray for the church and various ministries at Grace. We meet to pray on Wednesday mornings from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. from September through May. Please join us to see the power of God at work as we witness many answered prayers.
 

Bible Studies
Women at Grace meet weekly to study the Bible together. We meet to encourage one another, pray and learn together how to grow in our relationship with Jesus. A variety of study books and materials are used. If you have studied the scriptures for many years, or are new to studying the Bible, we believe that you'll be blessed by coming together with other women over the Word of God.
 
  • Tuesday Afternoon Study
We meet on Tuesday afternoons at 3:00 for a Precept Upon Precept Bible Study - "Wrestling with God - a study on Isaac, Jacob and Esau" -  Readers need only a pen, a few colored pencils...and a prayerful heart to complete each study and experience the Bible's life-changing power.  Facilitated by Ellen Voigt.

  • Wednesday Morning Study
Our Wednesday morning Bible study meets from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Starting March 7 we will begin a 8-week study from Beth Moore - "James - Mercy Triumphs." Seven weeks of personal daily assignments and 8 weekly group video sessions.

  • Wednesday Evening Study

Join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 as we also will be studying Beth Moore's "James - Mercy Triumphs".

 

  • Thursday Afternoon Study

The Thursday group meets from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m.  Facilitated by Susan Gisler.

 

 Apples of Gold

 
Apples of Gold is a six-week mentoring program based on the principles of Titus 2:3-5.  It is an excellent way to make new friends and learn new skills. Six different teaching mentors lead weekly lessons. Each 2-1/2 hour session includes a cooking demonstration, Bible study and time of fellowship. The teaching mentors combine the study of scripture with bringing that scripture to life every day by the way we show kindness, love for family submission to God and others, purity of body and spirit, as well as genuine hospitality to others. (Currently not meeting.)
