Welcome to Grace Student Ministries!

December is already here and came in with a massive snowstorm dumping 12 inches or so of snow on Stewie!  Grace Student Ministries is just finishing a series entitled "YA Gotta Serve Someone: A Year in Submission to Christ"  where we focus on the most amazing truth every told, that Jesus Christ came to earth, died, and rose again to save sinners.  How do we live in light of His sacrifice?  What does it mean have Jesus as Lord over our lives?  Why does the Bible still talk about Christians as "bond-servants or slaves"?   How can we apply this in our every day lives?  We will be finishing up this series next week as we look at Worship.

District Blitz in Rochester - April 23 - 25

EFCA National Conference    -     June 28 - July 3

Junior High: Meets Wednesday 3:30 pm-5:00 pm at the church.  Rides are available from Stewartville Middle School right after school to pick up any students who need a ride to the church!  Look for the big white van!!

Senior High: Meets Wednesday nights 7:00-8:30 at the church.

Service - 2009

On early release day in November we were able to spend time serving our community and raking leaves for those who needed help!  It was a great time working together and blessing the town of Stewartville!

MISSION HAITI: 2009

Our youth had the opportunity to go to Haiti for 9 days this June to serve the Haitians and many different ways.  

                         We built a house.  

Served with a the children's home.

Played with the school children.  

Served food through nutrition programs. 

Prayed for and gave layette items to babies in the community. 

Worshiped with the churches in the area.  

 Got to meet and encourage our sponsor child, Louius.

The Y.G. has been sponsoring Louius since last May.

And had a couple moments of free time.  

It was an amazing trip for students where we got be the the hands and feet of Christ in so many tangible ways.  We look forward to going back soon.
