Every Generation: Building Committee

December 7, 2025, marked an exciting day for Grace Church. The congregation met to discuss and vote on a Deacon-proposed project to expand our church building and replace our current parking lot. The vote resulted in unanimous approval of the project! With our Sunday morning and Wednesday night ministries utilizing every room in our building, this expansion provides more educational space to propel us forward in our mission to know Christ and make him known to Every Generation.

The Project

We have an exciting year ahead as we add a 6,300 square foot addition (71’ x 88’) onto the south side of our church building. The space is a combination of much needed classroom/meeting spaces and offices for our pastors. As of February 2026, the final engineering design touches are being made so the metal building shell can be ordered.

The Progress

The progress of the building in 2026 will rely heavily on the weather. A warmer end of the Winter season and a dry start to Spring, will put us in position for a favorable ground breaking. We hope that can happen in late March or early April, but it will depend on a few pieces falling into place.

We have a great Building Committee along with a fantastic group of design professionals within the Grace Church family. They will help us put the final touches on our plan. In the near future, we will solicit commitments from the Grace family who desire to volunteer to help in a variety of areas from painting to landscaping, all designed to help us reduce costs. Our Building Committee is also tasked with finalizing plans for reconstruction of the church parking lot, which will include lighting.
