Every Generation: Building Committee

December 7, 2025, marked an exciting day for Grace Church. The congregation met to discuss and vote on a Deacon-proposed project to expand our church building and replace our current parking lot. The vote resulted in unanimous approval of the project! With our Sunday morning and Wednesday night ministries utilizing every room in our building, this expansion provides more educational space to propel us forward in our mission to know Christ and make him known to Every Generation.

The Project

We have an exciting year ahead as we add a 6,300 square foot addition (71’ x 88’) onto the south side of our church building. The space is a combination of much needed classroom/meeting spaces and offices for our pastors.

The Progress

The day we’ve been praying and planning for is here as construction on our new addition got underway Monday, May 4th with the initial phase of ground work. Footings were poured on May 13 (see photos below) and preparation was done for the steel frame which began on June 2.

Ground Breaking Ceremony

On Sunday, March 29, we held our Ground Breaking Ceremony outdoors in the location of the new building addition. Enjoy this video of the event where Every Generation celebrated together!

May 13. Pastors Brian and Nick got in on the action and left proof that they are part of the foundation of this new wing of the church!

The week of June 2 the steel framing work began. The workers took advantage of the great weather and have been working diligently.

June 16 - Exterior pieces are moving along. Progress is being made on the plumbing and office spaces are visualized!

We have a great Building Committee along with a fantastic group of design professionals within the Grace Church family. They will help us put the final touches on our plan. In the near future, we will solicit commitments from the Grace family who desire to volunteer to help in a variety of areas from painting to landscaping, all designed to help us reduce costs. Our Building Committee is also tasked with finalizing plans for reconstruction of the church parking lot, which will include lighting.
