Iron Works
is the theme of Men’s Ministry here at Grace. The Bible tells us that “…as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17) These groups are designed to encourage and support men in the roles of husbands, dads, employees in the workplace and leaders in the home and Christian community.
Men’s Weekly Discipleship Groups
Wednesday Morning
Cabin Men - If early mornings are better for you, consider joining the Wednesday morning group at 7:30 am. This group meets at Cabin Coffee here in Stewartville for discussion and support.
Wednesday Night - starts Sept 10
This Bible study group meets in room 217 from 6:30-8:00 pm during the school year (Sept-Apr) when AWANA Kids’ Club meets.
Thursday Morning - starts Sept 3
Join us as we study the Bible together from 7:30-9 am in room 217. This group resumes September 3, 2026.
Study Description:
Words like Apocalyptic – Eschatology – End Times – Prophecy have piqued the interest of both the Christian and the moviegoer alike.
The Bible has much to say about these topics, and both the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning men’s group will be studying books often labeled "Apocalyptic" in genre.
This fall we head to Daniel to read about how Daniel and his friends thrived in a culture hostile to those who fear God – which will help prepare us for the Winter Semester where we plan to journey to John’s Revelation of Jesus Christ.
In both cases we see Words from God, spoken through a prophet or proclaimer of Truth that initially can seem mysterious or fantastical, but when read in context, these books can give the believer great hope and confidence in a God who is above it all.

Men’s Sports Connection
On Wednesday and Friday mornings we meet at 5:30 for some healthy competition on the basketball floor. If you’d like to join us, contact Alex (alexandsydneyhain@gmail.com).
