Greetings! I'm Nick Vetsch, Associate Pastor of Connections and Children's Ministry here at Grace!
Up until my junior year of high school, I was confident that I would become a high school history teacher after I graduated. But, God had different plans! After experiencing His call for me to pursue full time ministry, I attended the University of Northwestern, St. Paul with a Pastoral Ministry major. I spent three years learning, growing, and experiencing life within Christian Community all while gaining hands-on ministry experience - even spending two summers interning here at Grace!
Upon graduation from the University of Northwestern, I returned back to Stewartville (my hometown) and began discerning where God was leading. Through a series of open doors and various conversations, I joined the Grace staff in July of 2025 helping to connect guests into the Grace Family and provide oversight within our Children's Ministries!
God has wired me in such a way that I love to relationally connect - whether it's a Bible Study, a quick chat, or a game of sorts, God has called me to be in love with His Word and to glorify Him in all things by building relationships and loving others because He loves us! That calling has led to investing in this community as we all strive to know Christ and make Him known!
Being a Stewartville native, I have long loved this town and community! As I drive through or walk the many paths of Stewartville, I can picture moments and memories of growing up in this community. As I've stepped into this role, I get excited about what God will do to reach those within our community who haven't heard about Him - as we serve together, I look forward to partnering with parents to be intentional about ministering to children while connecting with those that are new to our community!
I have the joy of having nine brothers and sisters and parents who are eager to support and encourage me along this journey! Thanks for taking time to learn more about Grace Church!
